I have a been qualified solicitor since 1989. For many years I was employed as a senior legal advisor at a number of Magistrates Courts throughout the West Midlands, advising magistrates on law and court procedures. I was also part of a team that implemented training in specialist areas of criminal law and in new legal developments to Magistrates and other court staff .

Since 1991 I have been a specialist defence solicitor. I have worked for several city centre law firms in the past before setting up my own firm.

In 1995 I set up my own specialist criminal practice. The firm undertakes criminal litigation at all levels.

I have represented many high profile cases such as murder; rape, manslaughter, serious sexual offences and high cost VAT cases and mortgage frauds.

Because of the media interest in such cases I adopt a confidential and low-key approach, as many clients wish to preserve their privacy due to their position within the community or professional background.

I have a dedicated team of staff and associates that can provide advice and assistance to meet all clients needs whether it is at the police station, Magistrates court, Crown court or higher appeal courts.

We offer a 24 hours 7 day a week service to our clients so enabling clients to discuss their case with us at any time.

I believe in talking to my clients honestly about their case. I will not make it out to be any better or worse than it is. And will fight your corner tooth and nail.

I have worked within the firm since its inception in 1995. I work within the Crown Court department of the firm and have assisted counsel and prepared cases in many high profile cases such as murder, rape, child abuse, robbery, woundings, VAT fraud and drug cases.

I regularly attend Crown Court and Higher Appeal Courts and assist counsel with case preparation and management of cases. I also assist in cases in the Magistrates Court, especially those that get transferred to the Crown Court, thus ensuring a smooth transition, continuity of instructions and representation for the client.
