We recently represented a client at the magistrates court for shop fraud (ie it was alleged client obtained refunds fraudulently). Our client maintained innocence throughout the police investigation and court case and at trial we were able to bring out faults within the shop procedures which clearly supported our client’s version of events. Our client was a person of no previous convictions working within a profession. It was clearly extremely important client was acquitted and thereby retain good name and character. Happily court agreed with our client’s version of events and thereby found client not guilty.
