We recently represented a client at the Birmingham county court for breach of his anti social behaviour injunction. This sort of order has replaced ASBOs. This was his 2nd breach of the order within a short period of time. He was also the subject of a suspended committal order for a previous breach of the order.

The sentencing guideline was upto 26 weeks custody for the new breaches and activation of the suspended committal order.

The judge was persuaded by our MR Haycock to take no action on the breach of SCO and impose a further suspended committal order for the new 3 breaches of the injunction.

Client very relieved as he now spends time with his family at Christmas , rather than with people at HMP Brinsford.!!!!
